Strategy and Brand Messaging

In many organizations, the strategy, values and other key definitions live mainly in presentations or on a website — rather than guiding everyday behavior, or inspiring customers.

I help clients clarify their strategy and brand messaging so it becomes understandable, distinctive and actionable. This includes defining a clear brand story, key messages and a coherent narrative framework. I also support the design and facilitation of interactive strategy processes. The more employees and stakeholders participate in shaping the strategy, the less separate “strategy communication” is needed.

By distilling the strategy and brand story into a compelling narrative, we create interest and open new avenues for meaningful dialogue with stakeholders.

Change Communication

Organizations often run several change initiatives simultaneously – without a full understanding of how they interact, overlap or affect employees and customers.

I help leadership teams design interactive and human-centered change communication that brings expert teams into shaping both the change and its implementation. Together, we create the space for employees to explore the rationale, mechanics, impacts and expected benefits of the transformation.

I support clients in communicating brand messages, development initiatives, M&A processes, integration work and leadership or organizational changes.

Crisis Communications 

Unexpected crises and disruptions force leadership to reset priorities at the very moment stakeholders are already demanding clarity. Under this pressure, disciplined situation analysis, a coherent communication strategy, and consistent execution can easily be overshadowed. Even seasoned leaders may struggle to identify the core problem, understand – and accept – stakeholder reactions, or respond in a way that reduces rather than amplifies tension.

I advise senior executives and boards on communication and stakeholder management during sudden disruptions and acute crises. I also support long‑term strategic foresight, helping companies anticipate emerging risks and strengthen organizational readiness.

Much of a leader’s work is communication — often under intense scrutiny. Rising expectations from both internal and external stakeholders for clarity, responsiveness, and visible leadership are increasing the pressure on executives’ communication and interpersonal capabilities.

I coach executives to communicate with clarity and impact: from strategy and change communication to presentation skills, difficult conversations, media engagement, and crisis communication. I also help leadership teams strengthen their internal communication dynamics. Programs can focus on a single strategic theme or broader capability building, tailored for individual leaders, leadership teams, or manager groups.

Typical engagements include focused half‑day or full‑day sessions, workshops with pre‑work and follow‑ups, or longer development programs.

3. Coaching for Communications Leaders

Brand and reputation responsibilities place exceptional demands on the Chief Communications Officer — and turnover in the role is often higher than in other executive positions. Expectations from leadership are diverse, and collaboration with both the executive team and the communications function can easily become strained.

I coach communications leaders to strengthen their leadership presence and elevate their impact in the executive team. Depending on the situation, I also support improving processes, team capabilities, change readiness, and collaboration models so the function can better advance the company’s strategy and meet stakeholder needs.

The outcome is clearer roles, stronger trust, and more effective partnership between communications and leadership — enabling the CCO and the team to operate as a true strategic partner for the executive team.
